We started this company in 2019 after adopting our first rescue dog. Back then, she sure loved to pull on walks, and we bought a few different types of harnesses to encourage better walking. But most training harnesses have a loose fit, and she escaped several times. Thankfully, she had no interest in running away, but it sure gave us a fright! Naturally, we searched for solutions, and were surprised at how difficult it was to find a solid safety clip online. And so, the idea for the first Collar Companion ™ was born.

We researched endlessly how to manufacture something as simple as what we envisioned. But as is often the case, something which seemed simple was not. We cared deeply about the clip's quality, and it took well over 6 months before we had something in our hands that felt good.

We've come a long way since then, but some things never change. We're still dedicated to quality, and to listening to our customers.
